Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Leisyl B discovered her passion for design at a young age, donning an architect's costume complete with handmade blueprints for Halloween and eschewing traditional play for designing “Barbie Dreamhouse” interiors. This early creativity evolved into a lifelong love affair with interior design.

Her journey formally began with a Business Mentorship program in high school, where she was guided by an interior designer, solidifying her career path. Leisyl began her education, studying Interior Design and History, at Kent State University before finally earning her Bachelor of Science from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2013.

Leisyl thrives on the entire design process, from initial consultation to the final reveal. Specializing in residential design, she excels in everything from paint selections to full-scale remodels, with a particular passion for renovating and transforming spaces.

Before founding Leisyl B Designs in 2021, she honed her skills across various sectors, including compliance and legal services in corporate America, new home building design and sales, and interior design in a retail setting and a small local design firm. Her professional journey has been supported by her family, with her father crafting custom furniture and her mother and sister occasionally contributing to styling.

Outside of design, Leisyl is married to Allan and a dog mom to rescue-pup Chloe. Recently, they've opened their hearts and home to fostering children. Her love for travel, reading, and exploring new experiences enriches her creative perspective.

Her dedication to client satisfaction is evident in the strong referral-based business she has built, a testament to her expertise and the trust she instills in her clients.
